Participant 15. Imego AB (IMEGO), Gothenburg, Sweden

IMEGO AB (www.imego.com) is a Swedish research institute developing business opportunities at the leading edge of microelectronics and micromechanics with a focus on sensor systems. IMEGO AB collaborates on projects with companies and universities. One of the cornerstones of our activity is fast exploitation of silicon-based sensor prototypes developed in commercial processes. Today IMEGO AB consists of 45 people, mainly highly qualified researchers and engineers, who work in multidisciplinary projects in an open and egalitarian work environment. Activities include research as well as business financed projects with greatest emphasis on the latter. IMEGO AB’s work is conducted in modern premises on the Chalmers Campus in Gothenburg.

Role in the project

Bioactivity testing by measuring antimicrobial and antifouling activity and measuring the effect on mitochondrial function (WP3)

  • Analyte detection using magnetic nanoparticles coated with aptamers. Measurements are performed using the Imego DynoMag instrument (WP4)
